In my opinion neither is better as they are both too small for your purposed stock.

Be kinda like asking which shoe is better, a size 5.5 tennis shoe or a size 6 tennis shoe? Neither is gonna work for someone with a size 12 foot, right?

You're never in the lounge. Oh wait it's a aro question.:D

I disagree. this is my 875th post in the lounge. Of the 12159 post I've made, a little over 7% of my time on MFK is spent in the lounge. This is far from never. :p

yea but do u think i can keep 5 arowana in there 2 silver, 2 black, african arowana? and the other fish like CK, tarpons, rtgg
Just go with the 270, bigger one of the two. Yes, you can keep that many fish in that tank as long as you want, or as long as they live. You're going to be busy with the water change, though.

C'm on! A 3-ft wide tank is not too small for a 3-ft long fish! :grinno:

i can only fit a 225 maybe 270 in my new house.

i want is know is it alot 6" more for a fish tank. or its pretty much the same?

I still think your best option is to buy the 270, grown them up for a year, and while that is happening construct a pond in your backyard.

thats about the only way you are going to be able to keep that stock list for more than a year to year and half or so.

do you live somewhere without cold winters?

im in socal
