Which species of arowana is most compatible with tankmates?

Looking to get an aro for my 5×2×2ft tank. Its currently planted and have 7 altum angels. Which species would work best? Im thinking of getting the aro small and then growing it out in the tank, with the angels. Will this diffuse any aggression and lower risk of fighting? Or would this not work.

I've heard Jardinis are killers but so maybe scratch that one...

i had a golden croosback with angelfish..... moved out the angel fish when i had rays and caught the rays eating on 1 of the angel fish

The Silver or Black Arowana if you have proper large aquarium .

5 x 2 x 2 will not house any arowana long term humanely. To answer your question, arowanas have big personalities, it will really just depend on the specific fish

I have a 8" HB golden arowana... with 7" indo tiger and 6" Sema. Therapounura together... Indo tiger is always chasing aro , and aro is always chasing Sema... never peace..

I have 2x Cory Catfish in my tank with 8" Leichardti Arowana as well as 2 Firemouth Cichlids.
They don't even get touched.

my 12" hiback has 5 geophagus red head tapajos as tankmates...the geos take up the bottom of the tank..and the aro rules them all...its been quite peaceful and my geos continue breeding in the tank...
