Which Species of Polypterus are Captive Bred?

DMD123 had one that wasn't too big. I'd imagine at some point we would have seen adults by now. I'm betting they stay much smaller than WC

I'm having trouble finding which species of polypterus are captive bred. I've heard that it's uncommon for polypterus to breed in captivity and I really don't want to purchase a wild-caught one. If anyone can help create a list of captive-bred polypterus species, it would be much appreciated.

Not really an answer to your question but thought you might find it interesting to see what we see as different traits between species from different catch locations and some of the difference between wc and cb.

Sometimes we see different traits in the same fish. Eye of the beholder maybe

Dunno but how big is big. Are we talking wc size ? Or uj size ? I wonder if they get over 14.

I think Cb size but looks bigger than DMD

They are both around 15" Ziti is thicker then Lucifer.

Well that's a nice size. Maybe they can get close to wc sizes. You haven't them too long so probably allot of room for growth

I recently ordered a fish from online and was labeled as a red tiger , I know this fish can be mistaken for other species and I wanna know what species is it or is it a red tiger.
