I'm going to get some spirulina flakes for my new Victorian cichlids, but I need suggestions of which brand to get. So, please give me your thoughts.

I use ocean nutrition and OSI, you will notice on the ocean nutrition brand that the first 3 ingredients are plant matter, plant meal, spirulina...etc... Some other brands have fish meal as a primary ingredient which I tend to stay away from.

My Kyoga Flamebacks need vegetable matter, so I'm going to get some spirulina flakes for them. I want spirulina flakes that have alot of veggies in its ingredients. I think I am going to get the HBH 8 Veggie Flakes.

HBH makes good pellets, I think they call them Super Soft Spirulina pellets or something, I have a can of em, get a different cans, it never hurts to have an aresenal of different foods! :D

The super soft Krill and Spirulina pellets? They are good, but they pollute my water too much.

Feeding should consist of a high quality flake containing both protein and vegetable matter although a diet of spirulina flake with frozen or live brine shrimp, daphnia, or the like, is also suitable.

what I found on them. I would say the the NLS you already use and have will work great for these guys too.

Nutrafin Max is a great spirulina flake. Africans love it. You can get it at Petsmart.

Yeah, I am going to feed my Kyoga Flamebacks NLS and spirulina flakes as a combination. Do you think that will be good Mike?
