I would get the one my lfs has but its got a big gash in it and it wasnt looking very fixable. I want to save it but he wouldnt go down on price... 55$ for a hurt fish that it gonna die and he not get any money from it.:screwy: I even offered 25 and he acted like i was the crazy one. :irked:

Decorus is a possiblity..

I do want one but they get up to like 23 inches. I would need like a 3 foot wide tank for that catfish. So we i eventually build a monster tank, he will be included! :D

I believe it not buying a fish unless you already have the proper space.

synos are very hardy like most other cats
and even if hurt aren't much of a trouble to heal them up
the thing is they are scaleless fish which like to hide in crevices and they usually end up getting hurt in our tanks if we have sharp decors
and yeah i can understand most LFS don't come down with the price even if the fish is on the verge of death, they want it all or nothing, just like a bet LOL
no offense meant to the better LFS owners :):)

Went back today to see how it was doing.. Its in a betta holder now.. Its got this green stuff around the edge of the wound. Its looking really bad. I pointed the stuff out and he said it will be gone soon. I asked what he did he said "it will heal on its own'. Let me enlighten you on the place a little, first i have to drive a little over a hour to get to anyother pet store, so this place has 38+ 10 gallon tanks and 2 125's. There are not heaters, no filters( maybe this sponge thing is a filter), just a air tub. They do 50% water changes every 3 days. So how is it gonna heal itself!!! I almost stole so aquarium salt and just thru in it..

I wish i could save it but today he was to much of a jerk... and wouldnt get off his high horse. Still wanted 55..
