if money isn't an issue, then go w/ shipping to your door and bigger! but for glasscages my dealings have been good. and all the bad talk i have yet to see anyone who actually owned one have a failure! everytime someone brings it up it was allways some one they new or the camera is broke! i have yet to see a MFK member who had a real problem?

I feel all the bad talk about glasscages was overblown too. That's why I was considering them for a new tank. But, I think a lifetime guarantee and shipping to my house is worth the extra $400 or so. A lifetime guarantee just seems a ton safer than 90 days. And if I go that route, why not spend the extra $150 for a bigger footprint?

With that said, money is always an issue. But remember, acrylic tanks are made from petroleum. As the price of oil continues to skyrocket, so will the cost of manufacturing and shipping tanks. They're certainly not going to get any cheaper. That's why I'm ready to make a move now.

i voted for the 300 glasscages b/c i won't deal with acrlyic it scratches to ez for my liking. and i think i personlly might be able to get a deal on shipping from them b/c the factory I work at has a sister plant in the same town as glasscages and i might be able to get the boss to let me ship it to me on one of our trucks ( idk thou i haven't asked yet)

there is someone one here that just bought a 300 from glass cages and they loved it ill find a link for ya and repost it

i like my 125 wide from them, and would buy from em again. i was a little worried at first about the warranty but after getting the tank was plenty happy.

I say if you got the friends to help move a glass 300 do it and if you like the lifetime warrenty ( if it covers scratches over time) and the fact you don't need as many friends to help move it then go tencore but thats my opinion

a lifetime warrenty is only good if you can replace it for ANY reason if you can't do that make sure you know the terms for the warrenty

Glass is heavy. That's the main reason I want to go with acrylic.

I voted for the 350g..based soley on the tank size..to me bigger is better..

i did not take into account any other factors except for the tank size
