How big do you need?
I can definitely agree that I've seen significant growth, activity, and color progression in my Haitiensis once I took them off of the spirulina flake staple diet and finally got them accepting NLS pellets. Now the only thing they get that's not NLS is some frozen bloodworms, frozen brine shrimp, or the occasional fresh scallop. NLS all the way!!!!!NLS, IMO a LOT better ingredients than Hikari. (the latter uses corn flakes, soybean meal, dried bakery goods, mystery starches, etc) Personally I can no longer vouch for Northfin due to their *preservative free* disclaimer, that thus far has been proven to be a false claim. See following link for more info on that. https://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/threads/northfin-food.677309/
New Life Spectrum3mm Large Fish formula, or the 6MM TherA. Depends how hard your fish hits pellets. My adult male midas eats everything from 3mm and up, but my fish will all eat anything that I toss in their tank. Size or brand rarely matters. You might want to experiment between the two sizes?
Thanksno difference in the basic formulation on those two, price is good. Check out the various sizes locally first if you can, or online pics.
