Which to get rid of

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
im aiming for all boys because they color up and look better , except the salvini and red tigers there going to be female because the females look better for them also im ordering 2 of each fish and im growing them out till 4 inches where i will sex them and only have 1 of each how long till they can hit the 3 inch mark i feed nls and flakes

okay so im getting rid of the Friedrichstalii and lysoni or should i keep the lysoni

A few of the cichlids on the list are the only cichlid in their habitat in nature, the Nandopsis to name a few. This being the case, they will either be intimidated into bloat, or the opposite. Which ever grows the fastest, will be the intimidator, and the terminator.
My Haitiensus was the terminator in a group and needed a tank unto itself to stop the carnage once it matured.

But any one of practically every one of your fish, will do the others in at various stages.
Just sayin something

+1 haitiensis work best in a species tank. duanes makes some good points.

well the haitiensis are going to be smaller than the rest of the tank mates and so is the beani and im hoping with so much fish that aggression levels spread out

also what is the best food to get a 1 inch fish to hit 3 inches the fastest

okay so im getting rid of the Friedrichstalii and lysoni or should i keep them because i do have red tiger motas and there nicer looking also is a barred midas better than a lysoni
