which trigger?

I like the shape of the nigers but all the ones i have ever seen at my LFS have been really dark purple and not too interesting. I know they aren't really feeding them very much, so that would make their color dull but still i don't see them looking completely different after being fed better.

The Niger will change its color with health, happy surroundings and proper lighting! But I know what you mean too. They ALL look identical. LOL

Unless you get a Blue or Green or Purple or Black one! LOL
 
Get a bigger tank.
 
I would nix the trigger Idea all together, they are pretty nasty. We had one that would attack us when we had to dive in and clean the tank and would harass everyone else in the tank, even the black tipped reef sharks. In addition we had a queen in a different tank and she spent all her time scrapping her teeth on the side of the acrylic tank. Needless to say that tank didn't look so pretty after a while.
 
yeah, no triggs. They are very unpredictable. Maybe a wrasse instead?
 
I also recommend a bluejaw. I had one in my 75g reef tank and he never picked on any corals or my green chromis ... unfortunately my evil purple tang killed him.
 
If you want a trigger go with a rectangular trigger. One of the best fish I've ever owned in personality and looks. Every fish is different so ya never know but mine was peaceful with other fish except the feeders I was trying to get to my lion. He would crunch them in half. They get upwards of around 8".
