Any thoughts on asian soft-shells? I could always go bank account to the wall and try to snag one of the albino chinese ones theturtlesource has. I mean, I don't think their website is accurate to their current stock, but they do have them listed up there.
 
Mata matas do not bask if that is a big factor in deciding which one to get.

Wouldn't necessarily be an issue with them but their lack of movement is. Think at this point they're off the list, despite leading in votes.

To specify, it's down to either the Siebenrock's, the pink-bellied, or maybe a curveball softshell.

They run for more like $250 I've been seeing, but again, I think they're out of the competition now.

Just sent tom crutchfield an email asking if he has or can get color morphs of the two above or a few of the softshell species. Hopefully he responds!

Also, theturtlesource doesn't even have an answering machine anymore! Are they out of business?
