Which turtle should I get?

I like the argentine. His barbell is cute. And he look's like he's smiling.

I voted for the hilarii, they get a bit bigger and can be on the aggressive side of a community turtle, but they look great and are super active. I've kept most of those turtles and don't think that you can go wrong.

IMO, skip the salvinii, and get a Claudius angustatus. Expensive but very cool, and they swim backwards.

Oh yeah, those are really cool. A bit concerned that these guys would try to take my finger off, which is why I've been leaning towards Siebenrocks' (heard that, despite being pretty solidly carnivorous, they won't snap when handled) or maybe the pink-bellied.

I also sort of got the impression that hilarii would do better with deeper water, and I'm only offering 10'' or so max depth.

Anybody know if Siebenrocks' will bask? I read that they don't need a basking spot, so I'll assume they're strong swimmers. But it would be cool if they came out sometimes too.

Update:

Based on availability and the fact that their care/behavior seems pretty much identical to siebenrocks', I've decided to get a Reimanni.

Here's one of the pics the breeder sent me of the actual turtle I'm (almost definitely) getting!



So now here's the decision:

He has a sibling that is living separately from him because it's an aggressive eater. I could get both of them (they look almost the same) and just keep it at those, or get this one guy and get 2-3 Pink Bellies to go with, instead of 2 of the same species.

If you don't mind that it's a first gen (hopefully) inbreeding, you should definitely get a pair of the snakenecks and see what happens.
