So complementary to go with rummynose tetras, or cardinals, which of these guys fit best?

I have a 120 gallon 5 foot aquarium, not sure which to go with:

- Silver Dollar
- Striped Silver Dollar
- True DiscTetra (Brachychalcinus orbicularis)

And to go with either:

-Rummynise tetra

-Cardinal tetra

Tannin setup with 4 panda Uaru and 2 Tiger sevs and 20 orange laser Cory’s. Thanks guys

I’d go with brachychalcinus orbicularis.

If you can find some, i highly recommend tetragonopterus chalceus (aka tetragonopterus argenteus). Aqua imports carries them on and off. Theyre smaller than silver dollars, active schoolers, behave like miniature piranhas. Ive enjoyed my school of nine immensely.

Hmmm, they sound like cold water type, should I do cardinals or rummynose

I heard they get up to 12inchs, how big do they get if taken care of well, how many would fit?

Never seen a striped SD anywhere near that size. Typically the silver dollars of the metynnis complex reach 6-7" TL ime. I would go with a school of 5-10 for your tank depending on the tankmates.
