Which type of disk tetra fits best?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'd go with some sort of silver dollar. smaller tetras are too small for sevs imo.

I've kept Striped & Spotted SD's in my 120. That sized tank can hold them for life. Mine all topped out between 4" - 6". Its difficult to choose which variety is better looking. The Striped have a very high arched back. The Spotted stay compact. The males display a very colorful mating dress, and are in the mood most of the time. Probably not a good idea to keep small tetras like Rummynose or Cardinals with the SD's. Columbians or Bleedinghearts would likely do better.

So um, What’s a good price for striped SDs WC small?

They used to be 25 bucks apiece a few years ago, but I bought these guys for about 8 bucks.20190703_162744.jpg
