He/She is in a 55gallon tank..I have another Arowana with him..they both like each other and no fights at all...I am feeding him Humpy Head..2pellets x 3times a day...he is not fat and not bulgy..I would like to confirm if he's a Super Red Dragon and will he grow KOK...??
THANKS IN ADVANCE !13664351366436

As your lighting seems to have a blue-ish tint it's really hard to say whether it's a 'Super' RD or regular RD, though I suspect the latter. Seems to have some nice pearling though.

Regarding kok size, well we're fish keepers not fortune tellers :) time and good care will show whether it gets something of a hump (but I wouldn't get your hopes up too much in this dept. based on its current size/age, in fact it might even be a female (does the dorsal fin have any black markings? hard to tell from pix).

Though you didn't ask if you don't mind I will offer my opinion on 2 other points you might consider:
-- The honeymoon between the Arowana and your Flowerhorn almost assuredly will not last very long, esp, in that small of a tank. The FH will grow quite a bit faster than the Aro, soon get very territorial and then will likely kill or kick the living daylights out of your Arowana unless it's already much bigger (which I doubt in that tank size). For both of their future well-being I would seriously think to try and get another (bigger) tank for the Aro soon as you could. If that's not possible I would personally seriously consider to sell or re-home the Arowana.

--I know Humpy Head is popular where you live, but it's really not the greatest food for FH. I'll bet you can't easily get stuff like NLS, Northfin etc,, but if you can bro you should at least try to get some Hikari foods like Bio-Gold+, Cichlid Gold, Excel and Blood Red Parrot. If you buy them in bigger bags of course you can save some money.
Best of luck!

Thank you so much for the reply bro !! Lol..I just brought the 55gallon tank and fishless cycled it...Added these two guys before a week...I think I have to return the aro as u said...I can get Okiko Platinum Plus..how good is it ? And my flowerhorn doesn't have any black spot or black line on dorsal fin, does this means he can grow Hump ?? One more thing..when i try to feed aro with feeder fish, flowerhorn eats them..So the aro got angry and ate my 2 rainbow sharks...So I am not trying to train aro to eat humpyhead...It just takes one and spats...legends say I am already halfway through ..

You have these fish in a tank that isn't cycled!!!??? You had an ich outbreak due to ammonia stress I bet. Correction time:
First get the arrowana out of there.
Next get some used filter media from a healthy tank at the fish store you bought them from and add it to your filter immediately. IF YOU DONT THESE FISH WILL CONTINUE TO GET SICK AND HAVE A HIGH PROBABILITY OF DEATH.
Next stop allowing your flowerhorn to eat feeders, and stop feeding him garbage food like humpy head. DO NOT BUY OKIKO PLATINUM. 60% protien with a bunch of chemicals that are horrible for your fish.
Your arrowana swims by the water return because he is stressed, and your flowerhorn hides because he is stressed out too.

I cycled the tank bro.. using nitrifying bacteria instead of fish..I never told that I'd let flowerhorn eat feeder fish.. Now please help me to remove their stress.....Should I add a stress remover to the tank ?? As u said I'll return the Aro today but I have seen now that the flowerhorn's black dots faded.. I have no clue why...I set the temps to 30c yesterday instead of 28c.. is this is cause ?? 13666911366692

I still dont understand wondering what the strain of your fish is or whether it will grow a nuchal hump if it is obvious it wont live past a few weeks. If its not swimming around happy and healthy it is nothing at all. Is there something going on in India, like you have to have your fh identified by monsterfishkeepers to get a job promotion or something?

Take proper care of your fish it isnt a fashion accessory.

What are your water parameters at? I don’t believe you ever said unless I missed something.
