Which water conditioner do you recommend?

they all probably smell the same i think its the active ingredient sodium thiosulfate.

Prime would be my first choice, but I can't handle the smell and it gives me a rash if I get it on me.
I now use PondCare Chlorine & Heavy Metal Neutralizer.

no odour at all. its great stuff. I have been using it for the last 10 years. before that I used Wardley's straight dechlor which was good also.

the sulphur compounds in Prime (to reduce nitrites/ammonia -as Prime is an 'all in one' product) is what gives it the awful smell.
straight water conditioners that do nothing for nitrites do not smell bad.
