Which would you choose?

i went online and calculated the gallons and its 118.44gallons so you could do a jag pair and possibly blackbelts (not sure on blackbelts) but its to small for even one dovii

just because a tank is 120 gallons doesn't automatically mean, that you can just keep any type of fish in there, these dimentions SUCK ASS, no jags, no bb, and hell no dovii.

I put it's a 38x24x30 it isn't its a 48x30x24.

still doesn't do much difference, the dimentions still suck, if you really wanted to you could get away with mabey a couple jags at worst, but no bb, and absouluty no dovii.

I think you could go with the Black belts.
One day you may have to upgrade their tank, but 48" x 30" x 24" will be fine for quite some time.

I agree with Marc on the BB but still say Parachromis Motaguense would be a good choice.Better color than jag and attitude of dovi but max size is 12"

Right then it has been narrowed down to the Jags (hoping for a pair) or blackbelts i don't think that my LFS can get them in. I think that i may get a few Jags and try and get a pair out of them to breed. Which would be very interesting.
