Which would you rather have?

I was wondering and would like a couple of opinions: Which would you rather have? A Dovii or a Jag Cichlid? And why?

That's a tuff one, but I would rater have a Jag.

I think the jags look better, but the dovii's attitude I like better.....tis a tuff one.

If I had the tank space, I would definitely choose Dovii. They are so awsome when full grown.

It depends for me. If I was going to have a tank with a solo fish or breeding pair I would say a Honduran Dovii. But if I was going for some sort of community tank I would go for the Jag.
I have had both and they are both awesome fish in their own way.

I'd rather have the Jag, Dovi get too big and I never had a desire to keep one.

Go Dovii if single specimen tank bro, go Jag if its a community thing IMHO. because dovii won't work in that sense

IMHO, Jags have more attractive markings. But an adult Dovii would be a thing of beauty. And if it's attitude you're looking for, Jags can get downright nasty too. Mine would not work in a "community" setting. That said, if I had the tank space, I'd try Dovii, as I've never owned one before.
