agree if you wanna go for something a little rarer, go for retropinnis.

if you want something thats usually active and behave like senegalus, go for palmas polli. retropinnis will typically just hide or sit there and look pretty with occasional movement.

well both species top out at the same size of 14" , I would choose which you like better looks wise.. cough palmas polli

I voted palmas polli.
They have much nicer coloration and seem to be more active.
