come on it woulda taken 2 seconds outta your time- probably was some dumb kids thinking it would be funny to put them in the same cup- woulnt hurt you to seperate them.

Next time I drive by your house, I'm going to rearrange your lawn furniture because I don't like the way it's organized. I mean seriously people, do you think Wal-Mart cares about what .05% of fish keepers think? NOPE!! Not at all. Wal-Mart is a corporation that is in business to make money. I believe a lot people have no knowledge of business and what it actually takes to make money. If you all of you don't like Petsmart, Petco or Wal-Mart because they don't take care of fish the way you do, don't go there anymore, and if you do, just get what you need and get out. All the complaining in the world on this site won't even put a dent in their shield.

Vigilante? lol. This was the equivalent of picking up a carton of eggs someone left next to the cereal and putting it back in the refrigerated section. There was nothing wrong with doing it herself. It's the same thing the employee is going to do anyway. What are they going to do, get mad at her for protecting their inventory from further damage?

No, taking fish out of their container and placing them in individual containers would be comparable to taking brown eggs and putting them in with white eggs.

not if it was some kid you took them out of individual containers and put them in one. If anything it was a favor to walmart saving them a stock loss of 3 betta (helping the business that they care about). Not saying its anyone's business, but it didnt hurt anything.

This is a pointless argument because he shouldn't touched it regardless the situation. Putting eggs from the milk section back in the egg section would be like taking the bettas from the dog section, back to the fish section. What the op should've done is gone to an employee and told them they needed to fix it.

At which point the employee would do the exact thing the OP did. Good job OP.

oh wow, recreating the wheel here. is creepyoldguy under the impression that wal mart put all of the bettas together in the same container on purpose? Even if you don't keep fish, everyone knows they're called chinese fighting fish and of course naturally you wonder why they're called chinese fighting fish and you seek the answer. i highly doubt there's very many people that don't know that.

lots of people might unswitch eggs that are in the wrong box too just fyi.

Keyword there "EMPLOYEE". Sure, this site is all about the well being of a fish, so everyone is going to praise the op. In the real world, customers are customers and employees are employees and customers have no place in rearranging a stores "inventory".

The point is that it is the employee's job to take care of their inventory. Try going to a jewelry shopy and rearranging their rings and diamonds. Go to a used car lot and move the used car in the new car section back to the used car section. See what I'm saying? It's the same principle.

Why are you arguing semantics over a simple feel-good story? It's keeping a thread alive that should have long-since died.

It's not like she started moving all their fish around from tank to tank because they had them labelled wrong. She dumped a fish from one cup to another cup before they bit each other's faces off. Probably a result of some jerk customer thinking it would be cool to watch.

Some people are so conditioned to... "don't get involved...don't make a scene... don't make waves... just mind your own business... someone else will take care of it... not my problem..." that they let common sense go out the window.
