usally the bags r about 5lbs.
so like 15 bags if they are 5lbs each. . . . . . . . . . . .

you should do a natural look for a piranha IMO
Sand darker/off white
Driftwood
live plants
Powerhead to make a current as it was the river

thats just my oppion.

yea, I might do that, and make it an educational experiance for all who look upon his glory in wonder and awe!!

In other words, it's going to be damn pretty!! LOL

What size powerhead would I need for a tank that size?

i would go w/ the natural look too. i would go w/ the AC 50. i use an aquaclear powerhead on my big rhoms tank. they really enjoy the water movement.

i have an aquaclear i like it alot. they make them for all sie tanks. . . . .

I'll look into getting us one for our fish.

Oh, I was just wondering if grapevine logs could be used in my fishtank, or if that wouldn't be sick a good idea.

I have this one, that is currently in the tarantula's tank, that is all twisty, and would look AWESOME in my Piranha's tank when it's done.

i am unsure of the grapevine wood, but whatever wood you decide to use i would recommend sinking it in a tub of hot water for a while to get it water logged so it sinks. sometimes you will have to screw it to a piece of slate to get it to sink.

that would make sense!! lol.

I'm thinking about moving him today or tomorrow. The pleco pooped ALL over the tank, and my filter needs rinsed or something, considering it's not even trying to pick it up. Instead, it snicks up the floating pellets I feed!! grr!!

I'll probably take most of the water from the tank he's in now, and use it to seed the 75, considering the water's not whats nasty, the gravel needs scrubbed. I'll probably scrub all the decor before tossing it in the new tank as well.
