I've seen it before, but never like that

Generally during rough weather with an onshore wind, looks weird with big clumps of it blowing around the beach. But generally it's only knee deep. Never seen it that big

I believe that was taken in Queensland Australia a few weeks ago? They had some very unseasonal summer storms.

For the past 2-3 weeks, we've had nothing but feirce rains and rough weather. Not 40 minutes near me, you can go down to the beach in waist high foam. They broadcasted some footage of teens playing in it and it seems like a bunch of fun. Now that I hear its the sea's protien skimmer, I'm very reluctant to go in it.
