I saw one on an online store and they look pretty cool. anyone know anything about them like water perimeters, diet, min. tank size, etc?
 
There are many varieties of whiptail catfish

They belong to the family Loricariidae, There are many species under a handful of genera that are offered under the name whiptail catfish


The ones that pop up the most and are sold as whiptails are

Rineloricaria parva

F. acus and R. parva are the ones i see the most they're pretty cool and stay fairly small
