I have a suggestion if it hasn't already been disposed of. Put it in a big pot with a house plant. Fertilizer... plus then it'll continue to live on through the plant . That's what I do with my casualties anyways. (Big hippy I guess)

Sucks, but I can't actually say I'm sorry... Happened once and you didn't secure the lid better? If you did and she just brute forced her way out, that's a different story, I retract my statement.

I put a lid that covered the whole top and more. Made ventilation on the other side with a divider so she can't get to that vent opening. She busted through the acrylic sheet lid because it was not heavy enough.

I always like to leave 2 openings for my tanks so they air flow to the surface for better oxygen.

This one seems to want to get away so much I buried her in the front. I always bury them at tree roots.
