They must be tank bred. I only know of some bloke breeding BGK's in brisbane, but dont know where or who. www.aqualandpetsplus.com Then scroll down the page on the right to find Black Ghost Knifefish, and it will have a small report of that.

Not seasonal..

Selectively bred.. I saw a calico BGK a while back..

I believe males get more white on their head.. I wonder if they learned how to breed them then selected the whitest male each time.

Who knows.. awesome fish.
