White Catfish?? You tell me...

Here are four updated pics of my possible White Catfish and three taken from the internet of a White Catfish... look identical to me?? I bought him a couple months ago at 2" and he is around 4" now, thanks for looking!!!

Looks similar to me. I'm not a great I'd guy though. Hopefully anyone else can help out too!

Here are three Channel Cats from the internet, which it was thought to possibly be as well... I think it looks more like the White Catfish.

I say channel due to the bottom anal fin being sharp like a channels

Its the forked tail that is really telling for me, but the color and head look spot on too....

That's a white catfish. We used to call them White Bullheads but they arn't really bullheads, we just called them that. Thay are more like a bullhead channel cat cross in apperance if you had to discribe them I guess.

Didn't you have a thread on ID-ing this fella?

We hesitated a lot then but thought white although Necrocanis professed it is next to impossible due to their extremely scare presence in the hobby and trade. IMO, it is obviously white now.

It is in the Ameiurus genus whose common name is bullhead catfishes.
