I have a 5 incher that looks kinda like that, I almost got rid of it because I thought it looked pale and ugly, guess its just pale and rare.
Yep still do, and its wierd how when someone thinks that a fish is cool then you tend to start thinking yourself that it is cool. Although I have noticed that in the mornings he looks like a normal loach, but all day he is pale, and his stripes look a light bluish tint.
