My oscar has had this for a while now, what is it and how do I treat it?

To me it looks like a break/sprain in that particular ray of the fin. Gets bent to far and they get fractured. In time will heal back to normal.
Here you can see my Amphilophus Saggitae had one.20190412_123808.jpg

Now its gone.

I agree, just looks like slight damage. Whether from hitting a decoration or fighting another cichlid, it happens. I’ve seen it in my fish plenty of times. It will heal soon.

Looks a bit big for finley damage. Maybe some close ups to be sure.

It looks exactly like the ones Toni and Casper had. Look at the bump it's right on a ray. That particular one got bent to far and broke/fractured. These take time to heal. The 3 on Caspers tail were there for a year.
