Yeah they do stand out, I would have missed that herd in the three pictures if not for the white individual. The roles get reversed in the winter though. Glad you liked the pics and video, they really are stunning to see.

that's freaky..
in this park near me, a white headed deer randomly roams with it's herd. Its gotten so famous plenty of urban stories have been started from it. if i could count how many times that deer has randomly popped next to my car and scare me shhh*tless i'd be a rich man. very cool genetics.

I feel the same way and hunt for the same reasons. I feel that if I cannot kill something myself I shouldn't be eating it. That said finding deer can be difficult, I wouldn't pass on one just because it was white especially given how abundant they are here.
