I also used parasite clear tablets when one of my peacocks had the same symptoms as your fish and it did save my fish. It took about 7 days after I started the first dose for him to return to acting normal and he started feeding again 2-3 days after that.

One of the worst feelings is seeing one of your favorite fish have white stringy poop. Its never a good sign. Have you introduced new fish within the past 3 months? If so it could very likely be a parasite that is finally affecting your fish.

he is the newest batch of fish added to the tank... im still doing treatment... i started clout yesterday because i'm not sure the metro was working as effectively.... he seems less bloated now and is swimming around a good deal... no food though yet... he shows mild interest but wont take it... its been almost 2 weeks so now my major concern is hes gotta eat or hes gonna die

he is a Paralabidochromis chromogynos

nls... not a lot... typically once a day sometimes twice a day... its white/clear looks stringy but its not long... he's been sick since last sunday and just now finally started showing signs besides not eating and being lazy

i been treating with salt baths and metro baths.... he seemed to be getting better but today he seems to be worse ... i just saw him on top in corner so i quarantined him... i have airpump and heater coming tom but i might not have that much time so i got him in a tank and i'll monitor temperature on my own i guess

one-word! Garlic! that is how i treat my fish, trust me it works also once a month i mix garlic with the their food and feed them, good luck....

I would dose the tank with epsom salts, its is good at clearing out the intestines, pickeling salt for the stress,,,forget the meds. 1 cup epsom per 100 gal, half as much on the pickeling

i forgot to mention ARM & HAMMER works also,,,,no i am not joking and it wont kill the fish no matter what,,,,you cant overdose .....

hmm i second garlic! i feed my mbuna (ok, and the pleco) sliced and frozen squash, cucumber, zucchini and cauliflower with liquid garlic poured over them.. they love it!
