Thanks. Here is another shot of him from the same day. Both shots are about a year old, maybe a little more. His staple is Hikari koi pellets (mixed with Hikari cichlid pellets, but mostly koi), but he eats all sorts of fruits and veggies. Mostly any kind of salad green you can think of (he is eating arugula right now, since I had it), bananas (kind of messy), strawberries (his favourite), kiwis, green beans and peas (I agree about the pass-through, but I think it is good to clean the pipes occasionally). Sweet potato, apple, and so on also get in the mix. He does not eat any meat/fish, period. He hates shrimp, for some reason, which works out well for feeding the shrimp-loving but smaller fish in the tank. (The tank is 220 gallons, and currently holds Floyd, three red hooks, a few clown and yoyo loaches and a young albino bichir. I have an Aussie lung on order, which I hope will be here in the next couple of weeks...but I may move out the red hooks if it gets tight.)
