This is their normal color. They are suppose to be hard to keep alive. I was told the same thing about the Atlantic rays and I have yet to have problems with them. I guess I just love the Thrill. LOL

i have kept these white knifes (orthosternarchus tamandua)before actually around 6 of them at one time,, they are very sensitive to PH and ammonia, even the slightest change will kill them. but i love these knifes, sometimes they used to put their heads out of the water and eat bloodworms from my hand,, do u have more than one ?
