White poop and flicking?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
another one i found like that today :/ i found him stuck to the filter... i scooped him out quickly and put him in a specimen container. i took some pics...

i think its starting to affect the other fish too. the albino zebra's look like they are struggling to stay upright, and some are doing barrel rolls :O

Theres another demasoni in there that is just kind of getting pushed around by the current of the filter also.

heres the pics:

What are the water parameters right now?
Which med was used? The JPC? It would be better if you switch the med to pure prazi instead since it's safer to your fish.

Nitrate: 20 ppm
Nitrite: 0 ppm
GH: 150 ppm
KH: 200 ppm
PH: 8
Temp: 80 F
Ammonia: 0

using the JPC. i saw prazi-pro at Petland today, and it was like $80

Your water parameters are fine to me. I'd still advise you to switch to pure prazi though. Are you sure you are not seeing aggression as well?

Take the rocks (with sealant) out and get the carbon into the filter as well as do water changes. I don't feel comfortable with anything that does not add "aquarium safe" to its label personally. See if the fish behaves normally for a straight 48 hours. If problems persist, please let me know.

i honestly dont think theyre strong enough to make it for even a couple more hours. half of them are at the bottom just breathing and the others are swimming upside down.

Have you removed the rocks yet? I'd just move those out. Use other decors in the meantime, the ones that do not have sealant attached to them.
