Wow you're right, mine looks identical to yours during juvi stage. Hope he'll turn out similar as an adult as well.
My little orange juvie started peeling extensive white markings and sprouting a respectable nuchal hump seemingly overnight. He actually likes the Omega One Super Color cichlid pellets and goes to the trouble to carefully chew them before swallowing. Savoring the flavor, I suppose. With any luck Nero will turn out similar in appearance to your fish. Fingers crossed !

Glad you liked it! they do change a lot, you never know what you will get when you pick out a baby devil.
