Hello all, hoping someone can help me diagnose an issue that just started with my 9-10 year old blood parrot cichlid.
She hasn't been eating for the last 3 days. This wasn't alarming at first as her behavior gave me the impression she was going to be laying eggs soon (more aggressive, hovering around / cultivating the area she always lays them). But this morning there was a large white sack protruding from her underside. It almost looks like eggs that haven't dislodged. She isn't acting any differently and is still extremely active. Best I could come up with from googling is ovarian prolapse, but none of the pictures I found looked similar.
I've attached some pictures. Any help is greatly appreciated.
