How about some accuracy? You don't know at what temp he is currently running his tank at, so is it wise to say "raise temp"? How about providing the needed info as to what kind and how much salt to add?

If it a bump or scrap the salt will treat/prevent infection and help heal faster. If its an achor worm the salt wont do much, Jungle parasite clear or dimilin would be best, its really hard to tell in the pics. I would think it a bump due the nature of small silvers being a little jumpy......good luck.

when we first got our arowana she used to stress and ram her face into the glass when people walked by her tank. after a week or so she developed a small white puff between her barbles on her lip. we treated her with melafix and pemafix and it cleared it up within a few days. (we also did frequent water changes). we weren't sure what it was, we thought might have been a fungus?
