so i recently purchased a white spot pleco and i was just wondering if u guys could give me any ideas on what specific pleco it is. it is definatly a cleaner pleco it has cleared up my tank so well and does not actually touch my live plants. ive never really payed any attention to specifics on plecos so any possibilities would help

I believe its call snowball pleco.. L-142

Theres several types of this pleco. bigger and smaller spots.. but def a snowball..

theres the link.. http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=31

shows a picture of it!

yeah its a snowball. keep your water VERY clean man, for some reason they arent very hardy plecos. Actually a lot of the "fancy" plecos arent (besides royals of course). Snowballs grow VERY VERY slowly and still dont get very large at max size. But man are they BEAUTIFUL!

u know i just looked at it and i think that the label was dumb because it doesnt really have white spots its more of a yellowish brown redish mix of a color for the spots idk ill just wait for pictures i gotta go over to my brothers i got some decent ones on it
