could u post pics of what this looks like??

wouldn't hurt to post pics if there is still some noticeable damage on the gars...this would help show others what it looks like so they can keep an eye out for their own fishes. i can't recall the last time photos of this were posted, so it could be beneficial this time around.

Good point as far as helping others ID this type of problem, but recovery shouldn't be too big of a deal...keep the water clean, add salt, and elevate the temp a bit. Florida/Spotteds are generally quite resillient and heal very well under proper conditions.
