Hello,
I've noticed the past 3 days some white spots on 1 of my juvenile channa bleheri.
Current fish in the tank: 2 small kois, 2 small channa bleheri and 1 small common pleco

The tank is quite big for these guys (apprx. 200 gallons) and i've just restarted it a month ago.

It's the first time i'm seeing white spots on a fish and im not familiar with these disease (maybe ick?).

The channa is eating and behaving normally.
It's not easy to take a photo, but the half front of the fish is covered with small white dots (let's say 10-15 dots).

Any advise?

Thank you in advance for your time!

It’s tough to say anything for sure without pictures, but the description sounds like ich.
Old fashioned salt and heat is the simplest and most effective method:

I'm asking because snakeheads do not like either high temperatures or salt, so i'm wondering that i maybe stress out the fish more.
Current tank temperature 21 Celcius.

Also, the fish is still doing fine and is eating, shall I wait to see if it overcomes the disease by itself or take action?

Its getting to be summer i think the snakehead will be ok at 86 for a few weeks, what the snakehead dislikes and whats good for its health

I'm a cichlid guy, limited knowledge on snakeheads but search the site for sneak heads with ICH.
I'm old school so the few times my fish had ICH i just cranked up the heat and added salt, I've seen and heard many people use stuff like rid-x or other medications you may want to look into those

A quick update: I left my tank untreated and all fish got ick, but only the snakeheads had white dots on them. The one that got infected second, died in 2 days. I raised the temperature to 29 degrees celcius and added salt 2 grams per liter for 3 days now and all fish seem to be doing better, white dots have almost dissappeared from the snakehead completely.. all fish seem to be doing fine both with the temperature and the salt, no further signs of stress except the ones already from ick. All fish started eating normally again.

So in this case, I should have started the treatment directly, probably the snakehead that died might have lived... After lots of research, snakeheads can handle both the temperature and the low salinity... Hope to get over with this thing soon. I intend to keep the treatment (heat salt) for 10 more days. Any advice will be appreciated.

Keep it going until 10 days after the last spot disappears.
Generally the temp and salinity aren’t high enough to bother any commonly kept fish. I’d be worried about inverts or extra sensitive fish, but the disease (in this case) is almost always worse than the cure.
