try investing in a UV sterilizer too, having one of these and keeping the temp at 87 and u should never get ich again..

How are they doing?

this happen to me last night to my 7 in tem he was coverd in white spots didnt look like ich the water was 86-87 degrees and he was the only fish in the tank wih it.i added salt most of it is gone but theres still some.

where do you get your feeders? it could have possibly come from them.. like everyone else said, raise temp just a bit and add salt to the tank.

I did wc yesterday bumped temp and added salt when i get home tonight ill see if it made a differece. i get my feeders from my lfs i want to get them off live but there being stubborn. I can get my biggest bass to take silversides but the other refuses. The only other thing they will eat with regularity is bloodworms.

I went home for lunch and the spots were almost gone. :headbang2It looks like that did the trick thanks for the help everyone.

Stop with the feeders. They carry other things besides Ich. If you want feeders raise your own. Saves money and no worry about unseen diseases. As far as breaking them from feeders. Feed the silverside or what ever else. If they don't eat it take it out. They will come around. A fish will not starve it's self. Tough love is hard to do but it works.
