Anybody have much experience with these? i just pick one up for $10 at my lps cause it seemed like a pretty good deal. It pretty huge compared to any hermit crab i have ever seen. i could not close my hand around it, if that gives you an idea of the size. I could post a pick when i get a good angle, if you guys want.

they are very good BUT need a huge tank and will eat sponges or other soft Cnidarians but are excellent at eating aiptasia and are great hermits but watch your octocorals

these guys are BAMFS!!!definitely my favorite hermit, they are smart, or seem to be, active, and interactive, mine would routinely follow me around the room waiting for food. but i only have a reef tank right now :( and they are not reef hermits. in my experience they destroy anything they can catch. i would imagine a large one would require a dedicated acrylic tank(since a full grown one will be wielding a shell potentially weighing pounds that could break glass)

awesome, and as always YES!(really, why'd you ask) we want pics:screwy:
