white stringy poop

I'm not saying your fish is cured - however if a parasite like tapeworm is present and the tank was treated it is possible the fish is pooping out the dead tapeworm. I've seen this first hand.

I had hexamita (also called flagylated protozoa) in my GT recently, I tried so many things and nothing seemed to work. He slowed because more picky with what he ate then stopped eating completly.
One important question! Is he still eating? If yes you can soak food in the med, but if not then you need to treat the water which take a long time.

I live in the UK and the only med that finally worked for my was prescription only. It was called Azoo Anti-endoparacite which a friend had. I have since ordered some from the USA. It contained a few different things like metro and levisole (not sure of spelling).

He is now eating very well with dark poop again. Best xmas gift for me :)

it was about a week and a half ago that my festae had stringy white poo and wasnt eatin at all. i used the parasite clear from jungle , now it is eating and seems to be getting more active,so it seems to be workin.
