i just picked this guy?girl up for $15 at a pet store. is it a cross between a Convict and Flowerhorn?

ive never seen a convict look like that if its possible for them to breed then i guess you might have a fh convict cross

I can see some convict and texas traits. Not the most beautiful hybrid but i still like it
Maybe texas and barred midas? I havent seen barred midas alot though.

Agreed, the red eyes are a giveaway. Looks like one of the nicer convict crosses.

it was in a tank with pure convicts and looked way diffrent and bigger. and they were 4 inch cons so its like 5 inch or so. the fins also have a green kinda glow to them so its nice i wish it showed up in the pics.
