I've been a member of NJAS for years. I am the mentor chairman. Help new members become familiar with the club, hook them up with breeders, help find them someone to answer their fish questions, etc. Fish clubs are great for learning about the hobby, acquiring new fish and plants, and making new friends. Lots of other activities - fish shows, bowl shows, speaker programs, fish and plant auctions, swap meets, fish collecting trips, shop hops, road trips, summer picnic, holiday party, etc. Members are entitled to discounts at many local fish stores and pet shops.

Looking forward to your presentation in July. Also looking forward to the NJAS 60th Anniversary Convention and Fish Show this fall. Check out the NJAS website http://www.njas.net for more information about the club.

Funny coincidence. I belonged to NJAS when I was living in Clifton and attending CHS. Go Mustangs!!

i voted inconsistent, only because the club i was a member of rarely had meets, and when they did, basically no one showed up... so now i'm in my own fish club of 1...

proud member of GSAS Greater Seattle Aquarium Society. I drive an hour to get to every meeting ^_^

Member of the Circle City Aquarium Club who recently hosted the 2012 ACA Convention!!!!!

I am on the Board of Directors currently. I truly enjoy being a part of a local community of fishkeeps. It truly does spike my interest in the hobby more so that when I was not an active member.
