Jersey Shore club is not in SNJ, but in CNJ. *** is not a hobbyist forum like MFK, but more like a trading post to promote sale of fish in auctions.

Just joined gpasi here in Pittsburgh. And the first meeting I get to goto is at the Ppg aquarium at the zoo. Woohoo.

Both Greater City and Pitt are super cool clubs. Incidentally, GPASI was my very first every 'away' speaking engagement that I did :) There is a local planted tank club in Pitt as well, called PAPAS that meets at Oddball Pets.

There used to be one not too far from me but I don't know if its still active.

There are several active clubs in the greater Philly area. Bucks County Aq. Soc. meets the first Thursday at the Churchville Nature Center (no meeting in June due to workshop on June 8th at Silver Lake Nature Center, no meeting in July because it's the 4th and we don't meet in August). The next monthly meeting will be in September. I can send you info on the workshop or the meetings if you're interested.

The Delaware County Aq. Soc. meets the first Friday at the municipal building in Springfield.

You all got me curious so I did some googling and it would appear that the Greater Portland Aquatic Society is something of a joke. I'll check it out when they meet next month anyway.
