Some bichir do have some black patches that are present.I have a lapradei with lots of black patches as well but never seen one like the sene that you got. It would be nice if that's really is the true pattern.
ok,i just got it 1 week ago.but i still confuse,because the skin is yellow like an albino bichir but the eye is black :confused:

its a sen, looks like it contains albino n longfined gen in between,
still looks nice though..
 
There's actually a disease (can't remember the name) that will cause discoloration like that, and it will eventually kill the fish.

So I think, unfortunately, that there's a chance this is a plain albino and he's sick.

So lets hope that you just have a senegal with a very odd pattern.

oh really??but he eat normally.and didn't act like a sick fish (i always give frozen frog to him)..i don't think his albino,because his eye is black..but now the black pattern look fade..this is the update pict
