On walks in the woods I'm always bugging my wife saying, "What's that berry? Can I eat it? Look! Dandelion! You want some? It's more crunchy than chewy this time!" I like food. Especially unusual but readily available foods. I've still got to try orange peels, but since I'm not a big fan of citrus (I swear I can feel my teeth dissolve when I eat it) I'll probably hold it in similar regard as I hold oranges. I crush eggshells to sprinkle on crickets for my treefrog (I also crushed vitamin D3 pills to mix in). I haven't eaten it yet, but I could sprinkle it into my cereal. Why did you eat eggshells?
The eggshell was not a wise decision on my part, just wanted to see what would happen and didn't really care about the consequences. Unfortunately, that thinking didn't really help when I had to drink a gallon of water to get the shards of eggshell out of my throat...
Anyways, nice to see someone who doesn't mind eating the part of the food which most people won't. I'm sure there are more people like us, we just have to find them, lol...
