Our boat is slow and heavy. We put a low end prop on it, so top speed is now about 30 mph. For us, it's all about the wake--the bigger, the better. Getting ready for some major board action.
We have a nice wake to surf on.

Nice Boats!

I don't have my own, but my friends have some pretty cool boats:

22' Eliminator with a 505 Big Block- tops out at about 70MPH.




48' Sunseeker Superhawk- When I first took a ride, I offered to fill the tank...I had no idea it was a 300 Gallon fuel tank.

Luckily they didn't hold me to the offer.

My finger was in a splint, so I taped the fourth and fifth fingers together, put a plastic bag over my hand and taped the bag closed at my wrist. Had bruised ribs and had to be lifted in and out of the water. It was too hot of a day, so had to be in the water to cool off anyway. It doesn't take ten fingers to hold the rope to get up to wake surf

16' Comet: 0hp, 0gal tank, but it has as much sail-area as most boats twice the size... All Wind Power...

It hauls too (in sailboat terms), nothing like hiking out your whole body weight over the side to try and keep it upright...

I finished this a couple days ago.
Its made out of 1x2s a roll of duct tape, and a tarp. Top speed is 5mph.
