I don't currently have one as Im not keeping Africans these days but it is one of my favorites.It is also one of the few fish that I like it's albino form.
As a meanings of territorial behavior these fish are known to target the eye's of other fish. I haven't seen this behavior, nor had any obvious injuries on any of his tank mates over the last 3 years however..
Not sure what the standard price would be but I paid around ten bucks for a pair of these guys from a LFS when they were around 3"

^^^ Really healthy looking fish man! I swear these guys look like a prototype of a visual predator... Big eye's out in front, streamline body, and huge powerful tail!
i have 3 right now, they're my first and favourite africans. Male is very colourful but hard to keep with other eyebiters. I started with 6, one died the first night and 2 others were killed by the male, but it's been almost 4 months of peace so hoping it will work out overall. barely notices the tankmates other then some displays with a dolphin so no idea where the name comes from.
keeping them with 3 blue dolphins, 2 aulonocara steveni, 2 protomyleas fireblues, and a syno, adding 1 exochromis once it bulks up a bit
