Who else have a relationship with there fish

I guess you could say I have kinda have a funny relationship with my dovii. He is an attention hog, if I go past his tank to get to my snake room he loves to splash water out the tank at me. Hes very interested in everything I do. He is also the fish I spend the most time with, if he feels hes not getting attention he hits the top of the water or even tank lit to make noise to make me go in the room. Then as soon as I get there he stops.

I've been working on that with my baby O. Now he bangs the glass for attention during certain time slots, even when he's full of food. When I put my palm flat against tank, he acts like it's 'fish company'. he calms down when I'm there & bangs when I leave.
I know he is tormented by unnatural isolation. He will get tank mates, pending workable matches.
Last night he rammed into my hand really hard when I fiddled with something too near his fave spot inside tank . ? it surprised me. He's always been so cowardly about that.
