Who else have a relationship with there fish

My blind oscar knows my voice and eats from my hands. My Blood Parrot is the attention hog and has to have every second of my attention when im near the tank. she even pushes my oscar out of the way. She stalks me from side to side of the tank when i cross the room... really crazy fish. I cried when one of my 2 yr old parrot fish died. eveyone was looking at me all crazy, but I loved him... he was gentle and sweet...
 
Sure they can hear voices. Sound carries even better underwater, if they can actually understand words is the real question.

well i have never asked him anything... so im not sure, but i know that when i come up to the tank and call him, he comes, when other folks do, he turns tail... so yeah, i think he recognizes me... :)

My oscar is my fish buddy. Hes like that annoying cat that keeps rubbing ur leg as your trying to walk. Everytime im trying to fiddle in the tank hes right there next to my hand at times i literally have to push him away and he just comes right back. And i dont mean shoo him away i mean get my hand on his sude as he pushes back and physically push him away. I talk to him all the time he must think im nuts.

Being a fish, they would lack the mental capacity to understand commands. In other words..... FiSH 2 DuMbz
 
what do fish hear with, having no ears?
wouldn't they just feel vibrations?
